PrEP

PrEP at The ROC Center

Prevention with Pride. Protection with Purpose.

At The ROC Center, we believe everyone deserves access to HIV prevention that’s affirming, easy to access, and built around your life. Whether you prefer a daily pill or a long-acting injectable, our Inclusive PrEP Program offers flexible, compassionate care—no judgment, just support.

 What is PrEP?

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a daily pill or bi-monthly injection that significantly reduces your risk of HIV. When taken as prescribed, PrEP can lower your risk by up to 99%.

PrEP is safe, FDA-approved, and covered by most insurance plans.

 Two Ways to Take PrEP

  1. Oral PrEP (Daily Pill)
  • Taken once a day
  • Common brands: Truvada, Descovy
  • Great for people who prefer a daily routine
  • Telehealth and in-person visits available
  1. Injectable PrEP (Apretude)
  • One injection every two months
  • Administered by a provider at The ROC Center
  • Ideal for anyone who prefers not to take a daily pill
  • Covered by insurance or patient assistance programs
